an authority on the subject, but everything I having been reading says that running over 80% duty cycle on injectors is bad juju because it can cause them to overheat and in return greatly accelerate their demise, not to mention reduce their capacity to accurately deliver fuel flow at those higher duty cycles since they are nearly full open instead of pulsing. On 30-something degree winter days, when I have driven my Z, my duty cycle still peaks out at 80-85%. Now I haven't worried about it because I knew I was going to replace them this year before they could wear out, but that might be something you would want to consider before you decide to set the car up to boost at 1 bar or more. Somone please chime in if I am mis-speaking here.
Tsk tsk, some people just don't know when to stfu search said you suck (n/m) - Wilks. 01:38:02 09/06/06 |
